Founded in 2012, after the merger of two long-standing Eastside clubs (Capital City United SC and Madison East SC), CapEast serves the Madison East High and Madison La Follette high school attendance areas, along with surrounding communities.

 

The Capital City United Soccer Club was founded ahead of the 1990-1991 season. "Cap City" as the club was commonly known, drew players primarily from the Madison La Follette HS attendance and surrounding areas.

Other clubs that were predecessors to current day CapEast include: Madison Near East SC (MNE) and North Madison SC (NOMAD).
